This year, I discovered you can never judge people by their appearance

This year I changed to a different school. When I arrived at Galois, I found many peple that, at the begining, I thought were very spoiled. My fist reaction was not to talk to them because I don't like this kind of people. Later, I discovered that people like Amanda, Gaby, Fernanda and others were very good people. Nowadays I help them study for the tests and they are very nice to me. We go to parties and have fun together. It's amazing.

A little bit of me

My name is Barbara, but my webname is Panda. Well, this is a long story. Once, I was at Galois' farm and I said that I like eating bamboo. Then my friends said that just a panda likes bamboo, and I should like bamboo shoots. So, because of this little mistake, everybody calls me Panda now. I'm into fashion, movies, TV programs and music. I'm an expert on TV programs, you can ask me anything about it. I'm always watching TV so I know the best programs are on. The best one now is "Gossip Girl", it's funny and exciting. If you have cable TV you can watch it on Warner Channel. I also like surfing the web. My favorite websites are: youtube, orkut and vagalume. If you want to make new friends, see the best videos or listen to the music of the moment you should visit them.

A new Cinderella

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Cinderella. She was an orphan child, so she lived with her stepmother and her half-sisters. She was very fat. Her favorite food was watermelon, so every day she ate five of it. Clarisse and Mariela, her half-sisters, were very bad. They made Cinderella their private maid. Cinderella's life was very difficult. Every day she had to cook, wash the dishes, sweep the floor. One day a letter of the prince arrived at their house. He was inviting all the ladies to a ball, when he was going to choose his wife. Cinderellas's stepmother didn't let her go, because she was just a maid of the house and didn't have a dress. However, she made her own dress with food, because she tought that she was going to be hungry at the party and if she didn't bring any food she would eat all the balls food. She went there in a horse, but she had to be back at midnight because it was the time har favorite TV serie start: Free Food. At the ball, she danced all the dances with the prince they formed a beautiful couple. She was so entertained that she forgot about the time and, when she saw the clock, it was midnight. She ran out of the castle and didn't say goodbye to anyone. However she dropped a piece of watermelons on the steps. The prince was so in love with the girl that he saught the whole kingdom for her. When he found her, they got married and live happily forever.

A story to remember

Last year I read a very good book for school called "After that traveling". The story is about Valeria, a teenager that discovered she had AIDS. She had to face a lot of prejudice. For a long time she decided that she would'nt take any medication, because this wasn't going to save her, just extend her life. She went to the US to study English. There she met lots of people of other countries and discovered that you can't judge people by their appearance (the lesson of the book). When the course finished, she was very sick: with fever and weak, so she came back to Brazil and had a hard treatment. At the end, fortunatelly, she started taking the medicine because she found out that she could have a normal life. I liked the end of the book a lot and I even cried because the story is very beautiful.
